CAPITAL PROJECTS
Each year, North Park Water invests in a number of capital improvement projects. Some projects are to maintain existing infrastructure, while others are to add new infrastructure. Historically, projects have ranged from water meter replacements to water treatment plant upgrades. Smaller projects are funded directly from Utility revenues, while larger projects typically require outside funding sources such as water revenue bonds or state drinking water loans. Ultimately, these investments maintain and upgrade the water treatment and distribution system to ensure a reliable and safe supply of water to the community.
