The North Park Public Water District will be flushing water mains and flow testing fire hydrants in Machesney Park beginning on Monday, March 29th and continuing for approximately the next 2 weeks. Flushing and testing will be conducted between 7:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. daily, Monday through Friday.

The water may become discolored at times during flushing hours. However, the water remains safe to drink and there are no health concerns associated with flushing.
Customers are cautioned against doing laundry during flushing hours. If you experience colored water, please run your water until it clears up and refrain from doing light-colored laundry in the meantime.
