How to Request a Public Record Under FOIA

North Park Water complies with the Illinois Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) in an effort to provide information regarding the affairs of the government and the official acts and policies of its public officials. Chad Hunter and Steven Pond are the current Freedom of Information Officers for North Park Water.

The Illinois Freedom of Information Act requires that all requests for public records must be made in writing. The Act does not require North Park Water to interpret or advise requesters as to the meaning or significance of any public records.

Fees could be imposed depending on the size of your request and how you want to receive your documents. No fees shall be charged for the first 50 pages of black and white, letter or legal sized copies requested by a requester. After the first 50 pages the fee is .15 cents per page. Efforts will be made to minimize your costs and we will communicate all costs to you.

To process a request, please use the FOIA Request Form, email your request to [email protected], or mail your request to 1350 Turret Drive, Machesney Park, IL 61115.
